Stakeholder Involvement
The Regent of Tangerang Regency has expressed support for developing the bamboo park concept and advancing the local community's creative economy industry. In September 2024, the Regent issued a decree establishing the Creative Economy Committee for the 2024–2029 period number 500.13/Kep.869-Huk/2024. The decree outlines the roles and structure of the committee, which is chaired by the Regent, with the Regional Secretary as the secretary and members comprising all departmental heads. The implementation team includes academics, community members, craft practitioners, regional art performers, and media representatives.

The development of the bamboo tourism park involves not only the Creative Economy Committee but also the SEHATI (School for Biodiversity) program. SEHATI was initiated by the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) as an effort to preserve the environment and promote biodiversity conservation in schools. The bamboo arboretum serves as a medium for education and horticultural therapy. Furthermore, seven universities in Tangerang Regency offer curricula related to bamboo development.
The planning process for the bamboo tourism park will also involve universities with psychology programs. Psychology students undertaking internships will contribute by providing free counseling services to the community.
The bamboo tourism park, designed with an ecotherapy concept, will be replicated in 29 districts and adapted to the local environmental conditions and human resources. Additionally, local wisdom will be showcased within the tourism parks.
